The included construction plans guide you step by step in English and Italian. Laser-cut parts ensure accurate dimensions. Paint and glue are not included!
THE SHIP’S HISTORY
The basic design of the sampan has remained unchanged for centuries. It is still used in the China Sea for fishing, transport and light cargo. Amati’s Sampang ship model kit includes pre-cut mahogany frames and keel, with walnut deck planking and freeboard. Fittings are made from wood, brass and cast metal. Cotton sailcloth, brightly coloured pennants, rigging line, plans and instructions are also included.
