• PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: MAMOLI offers a wide range of products. These miniature ships retain the principles of traditional shipbuilding. A pre-shaped hull, 1:1 schematic plans and instructions in English, German, French and Italian make assembly easier. Not recommended for children under 14. Thanks to natural materials, the finished Mini Mamoli models can rival the appearance of more complex models.

  Practical tips for building the model:
  Soak the hull planking strips in water before bending to make them more flexible. Once soaked, bend them very carefully to prevent breakage. Soaking is important because damp strips are less likely to break.
  There are several bending methods:
• Using a household iron
• Using a 50 W soldering iron
• Using a preserving jar as a curved former
• Using a plank bender.
• Use wood glue for wooden parts.
• Use gel adhesive for lead and tin components.
• Repair flaws or uneven areas in the wood with wood filler.
• Use a water-based varnish for the finish.
• Prepare the wood with sandpaper before gluing.
