The Hungarian Sailing Association, which functions as the owner, was faced with the fact that the ship could only be saved by a complete reconstruction. That’s when they decided to sell and put out a tender. Róbert Láng’s offer was found to be the most suitable, as he had been competing with Lajos Cittel at Sirocco for years. Róbert’s personality guaranteed that the ship would be in the best hands. The reconstruction began in Veszprém in 1998 at Navalia, led by Pál Dobó. Lajos Cittel, as the new captain and experienced shipbuilder, managed the works. Many others also contributed to the success of the project, such as the GaHo workshop, Dénes Paulovits and Imre Fekets.
