  If you have already built a few models and are looking for a new challenge, this kit offers an opportunity to develop your ship modelling skills. The materials used in this wooden model largely match those of the original ship. The parts are assembled using glue and nails.

  The enclosed plans guide you through construction step by step in English and Italian.

  Laser-cut parts ensure accurate dimensions.

  Paint, glue and tools are not included.

• Ship history:
  A square topsail American schooner, the Lynx was launched from the Baltimore dockyards in the early 19th century. Her commission was dated less than a month after the declaration war, on July 14th 1812. Built by Thomas Kemp to attack enemy merchant ships, she carried six 12-pounders and a crew of forty men. She took part in the Great Lakes Battle in 1812 and was captured by Sir John Warren’s squadron at Rappahnnock river on the 13th. April 1813.
  The Panart kit features the following: A double plank on frame construction, building plans with general details English instructions, walnut and lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, rigging cord and silk flag. All sheet ply sections are Laser cut for accuracy.
