Important: Set the barometer before use!
We avoid the proximity of a heater and direct sunlight.
The barometer must first be set according to your local altitude conditions. Find out about the current air pressure value in the area (at the Meteorological Institute, on the Internet: www.met.hu , local radio station). Carefully turn the adjustment screw (which you can find on the back of the instrument) to the right with a small screwdriver until the pointer matches the desired value.
Avoid overtightening!
Gentle tapping followed by readjustment allows a more precise setting.
Thermometer and hygrometer are factory set .
Compare the statement after with the value of a well-functioning device.
Deviations of the indicator structure can be adjusted by carefully turning the adjustment screw on the back. In order to regenerate the hygrometer, wrap it in a damp cloth for 30 minutes once a year.
How the barometer works:
Barometer can measure air pressure in Hecto-Pascals (hPa), millibars (mb), inches (in), millimeters of mercury (mmHg). Air pressure corresponds to the weight of the air layer surrounding us and depends on the weather and the local altitude. Observing air pressure fluctuations makes weather forecasting possible. The current air pressure is marked with the setting pointer and changes can be observed.

The thermometer measures temperature in Celsius (C) or Fahrenheit (F).

If the hygrometer malfunctions (shows a strikingly different value
eg: 10-20% or 80%), then recalibration may be necessary:
Place a well-moistened cloth under the back of the hygrometer for 30 minutes.
After the 30-minute period, the device should show a humidity of 95%.
If the displayed value deviates from this by more than +/-5, adjust the 95% by gently turning the screw on the back /with a screwdriver/.
After that, the hygrometer will work normally again. It is installed outdoors and informs about the weather situation.
