If you have already built a few models and are looking for a new challenge, this kit offers an opportunity to develop your ship modelling skills. The materials used in this wooden model largely match those of the original ship. The parts are assembled using glue and nails.
The plans supplied in the box guide you through construction step by step in English and Italian.
Laser-cut parts ensure accurate dimensions.

Ship history
Gold gleamed on the bows and silver glittered on every vessel. The fleet was magnificent: its captain could conquer whole worlds simply by displaying it, and its mere appearance terrified enemies.
King Olaf Tryggvesson named his drakkar Ormen Lange, the Long Snake, and it became a legend of the North Sea. These longships had dragon-head figureheads and could reach 48 metres in length. They had to be light and extremely manoeuvrable.
The kit features plank-on-bulkhead construction, a laser-cut keel, frames and deck, a wooden mast and yard, sailcloth, rigging, and resin and hardwood fittings.
